Spring energy boost - naturally!

Spring - the season awaited by everyone, welcomes us with warmer sunshine, first spring flowers and... fatigue. Overburdened by winter, we are not able to welcome spring as enthusiastically as it deserves. How do we deal with it? We present natural ways to add vitality to each other.

Aloe Vera is widely used in cosmetics and herbal medicine for unknown reasons. Meanwhile, aloe vera juice not only has a positive effect on the skin. Regular drinking of aloe juice has a beneficial effect on the digestive system, strengthens the immune system - important especially in spring, helps to remove toxins, has an anti-inflammatory effect. If we are thinking about how to reduce the acidity of the body, we should reach for aloe vera. Aloe vera juice can be bought in herbal shops or... squeezed out of a flower standing on a windowsill.

Spinach - is known primarily for its high iron content and is recommended for people suffering from anaemia. In addition to iron, it contains potassium, lutein, vitamin C, beta-carotene and folic acid. Eating spinach can be treated as an anti-cancer and antiatherosclerotic prophylaxis. Spinach can be eaten raw, e.g. in a salad, fried with pasta, baked in casseroles or as an addition to cakes. Popular is spinach cake forest moss.

Pigwa - came from Asia, but soon became popular in Poland. Quince fruits are not fit for eating - they have a tart taste. However, the juice produced from them contains more vitamin C than it is considered to be the best source of citrus. It also contains a lot of B vitamins, phosphorus, iron, copper, potassium, magnesium and calcium. Quince juice is a lifesaver in diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach problems. It also has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect. It is also irreplaceable as a body strengthening agent.

Chia - Spanish sage - was already known to the ancient Mayans and Aztecs. By "chia" we mean its seeds, which contain phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, manganese and B vitamins. Interestingly, chia seeds contain three times as much omega-3 fatty acids as Atlantic salmon, wrongly considered the leader in this field. Chia seeds give you vitality and help you lose weight. They seem ideal for those who want to lose weight without the effect of dietary weakness.

Nettle is not only a sorry weed. Our grandmothers already knew that both flogging with nettle and drinking the broth from it helps to combat arthritis. Drinking juice or nettle stock is an ancient spring tradition. Nettle, due to its high content of vitamins and minerals, was considered to be a plant with a beneficial effect on the organism in spring. Today, we know that this view is fully justified.
